Wrestling Shoes are required for practice and events. Headgear is optional at practice but required for competitions.  A mouthpiece is required for participants with braces. The mouthpiece must cover braces. Note: WRESTLING SHOES SHOULD NOT BE WORN OUTSIDE OF PRACTICE OR EVENTS.

 Wrestlers should practice in athletic shorts or jogging pants that are free of snaps, zippers and buttons along with long sleeve shirt.
