Registration for the 2019-2020 High school season will open on Oct 4th.

Brookwood High school offers three wrestling  teams, a 9th grade, Junior Varsity, and Varsity. Our program takes great pride in developing student athletes and has long standing tradition of academic and athletic excellence.

Wrestling is open to all students with or without experience. However, 10th through 12th graders without experience should consult head coach prior to registration.

PRACTICE SCHEDULE:Daily Practice Schedule and Competition schedule can be found on the calander or under team page.
10-12th grade wrestlers begin practice on Oct 21
9th grade wrestlers begin practice on Nov 4

Practices are M-F 2:45-4:45 in the Brookwood Wrestling room 

REGISTRATION:Takedown Club Dues/Membership is $330 per player and can only be paid through our online registration system.  This fee  covers operational expenses that include but are not limited to, uniforms, entry fees, equipment, travel, referees, banquet and awards. Once dues are received student will receive a player package that includes their practice gear, warm up & competition gear for the season. The gear becomes the athlete’s property.

Students who are involved in a fall sport should plan to meet registration deadlines and requirements but cannot begin wrestling practice until their current sport is over.

The following items must be completed and submitted before the student is eligible to participate in any wrestling activities.   

1.  Register with Dragonfly, complete player profile & return or upload Physical Form. Form and directions can be found on BHS wrestling home page.
2. Register your wrestler through our online system and set up payment(s) for Takdowon Club Dues.
3.  Review Code of Conduct Form and Electronically sign
4.  Review Concussion Awareness Form and Electronically sign 

*Note: 10-12 grade wrestlers registration is due before their first practice Oct 21 
9th grade wrestlers registration is due before their first practice on Nov 4

NEW PARENT MEETING: Oct 8th 7-8pm in BHS Chorus meeting. Interested in learning more about the program. Meet the coach and gets your questions answered .

WEIGHT CERTIFICATION: Oct 19 at 8am

WRESTLE OFFS & PARENT MEETING: Nov 5  6-8pm

EQUIPMENT: Wrestling shoes and headgear are required, but not included in player package. Headgear can be purchased at checkout of registration. Mouthpeices are required for wrestlers with braces.
